Make preparations for and take the Transport Canada Official Exam

It costs $49.95 Canadian dollars to take online courses on a desktop computer, laptop or mobile device. It is mandatory that you pass the Transport Canada Boating Safety Test after finishing the course (TCBS Test). Passing the test will need you to take it twice. You must wait 24 hours before retaking the test if you fail it on your first try.

Use your computer to generate a temporary boating licence

After passing the TCBS exam, you will be able to print your certificate of completion. All Canadian provinces, including Quebec, can use this document as a temporary boating licence.
